In this role, you will work closely with a team of experienced professionals to secure cargo using a variety of lashing equipment and techniques. Your daily tasks will include inspecting cargo, selecting appropriate lashing materials, and executing secure lashing procedures. You will also be responsible for maintaining and inspecting lashing equipment, ensuring compliance with international safety standards and regulations.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

• Inspect and assess cargo to determine the appropriate lashing techniques and materials.
• Execute secure lashing procedures using a variety of lashing equipment, including wire ropes, synthetic lashing materials, and lashing systems.
• Maintain and inspect lashing equipment, ensuring compliance with international safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and audits to ensure the safe and efficient securing of cargo.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff on lashing techniques and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement improvements to lashing procedures and equipment.
• Document all lashing activities and maintain accurate records for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures for cargo securing.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

• Minimum 3 years of experience in lashing and cargo securing in port and maritime operations.
• Certification as a Lashing Specialist or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in using lashing equipment and tools, including wire ropes, synthetic lashing materials, and lashing systems.
• Strong knowledge of international safety standards and regulations related to cargo securing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with port operations and maritime logistics is a plus.
• Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
